| Hello all. I am organizing help for Ken and Joan. Ken is at dialysis Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from about 9am until about 3pm. He would like it if Joan was not alone during those times. I am working with the Dames, the Nor Cal Ren Gig Group, and our Guild to organize visits for her. It would help if you could visit from about 11am until 1pm. Bring or make Ken and Joan lunch, and maybe play cards, or just talk and watch TV. I am specifically looking for folks to commit to a weekly or bi-weekly visit so there is constancy. But..I'll take anything! Just let me know so I can coordinate visits.
Also, if you work, or can't get to Fairfield for visits, please make small casseroles or dishes for two people (Joan's appetite is poor these days, so small meals are best) and put them in disposable containers. If you can't bring them to her, get them to me, and I will store in my freezer until I visit them.
And, finally call or send a card, just let them know she's not alone.
