| Workplace giving refers to when an employee donates to a charitable organization of their choice through deduction, made by your Employer, from your paychecks. Such donations allow an organization to spend less time fund raising.
Now is the time when most Employers are doing their United Way Campaigns, and other types of giving. Here is how you can give to Clan Iain Abrach ~ MacIain.
•Corporate Environment: If you work for a corporation that has a workplace giving campaign there will be a sign-up that will ask for the numerical code of the entity that you wish to donate too. We will probably not be in your work’s cataloge…so ask how you can give to a local organization.
•The United Way: Clan Iain Abrach ~ MacIain will probably not be listed by your employer in your workplace giving campaign; however, you can designate “Clan Iain Abrach ~ MacIain” in the "Specific Organization" or "donor option" section of your United Way pledge form. Ask your campaign coordinator how to do this if it is not clear.
•Government workplaces: If you work for a government agency, such as the State of California, state universities, the federal government, as well as many other counties and cities. It may be possible to donate through them as well. Ask your campaign coordinator how you may designate a gift to Clan Iain Abrach ~ MacIain.
Think of it this way, if you have $5 taken out of every paycheck and you are paid bi-weekly, that means that over twenty-six paychecks you will have donated $130 to the Guild. And, that donation will be tax-deductible. If thirty members did this the Guild would have $3900 by the end of next year. Woo Hoo!
