| Just an FYI that we have recieved approval from the State of CA for being a "Tax Exempt" charity. We have turned in the paperwork for the Federal application, received some additional information requests from the IRS, and sent that info in just this past weekend. Hopefully we will hear from them soon. We'll keep you posted.
I suggest that we type up a letter to "the membership" stating they are required to have "costume, props, etc" in detail so that folks who's tax advisors think they will benefit from additional write-offs have the letter they need for "audit" purposes.
